At The Woodlands Inn’s assisted living and memory support households, meals are about so much more than nutrition. Dining here is a delight for all the senses and a time for connection and camaraderie. Edgewood’s chef oversees menu selection and meal preparation for each home, incorporating Edgewood’s farm-to-table philosophy and the same fresh, locally sourced ingredients used in all the dining venues on our campus. Meals are prepared in each home’s open kitchen and resident members are welcome to observe or join in the preparation before dining together.
Residents also enjoy sharing favorite family recipes for our chefs to prepare, bringing back treasured memories and sharing them with their housemates. Special themed meals, holiday feasts and courtyard cookouts add to the culinary experience and, with 24/7 access to the kitchen, residents can always find their favorite snacks and beverages — further increasing their autonomy and sense of independence.
